The water you soak in

A magnesium pool.
You'll feel the difference.

Every Nore Haus is a magnesium pool — a mineral pool using magnesium chloride and potassium chloride instead of standard chlorine. The same water the spa towns of Europe have used for two centuries, at backyard plunge volume.

01

Soft, mineral-rich water

Magnesium and potassium soften the water. The first soak tells you — less astringency, no chlorine smell on your skin, no red eyes.

02

Easier maintenance

A mineral pool runs at a fraction of the chlorine load of a standard pool. Less testing, fewer chemicals, simpler upkeep. A filter rinse on Sunday is most of the work.

03

European spa tradition

Magnesium-rich mineral baths sit at the centre of every European spa-town soak — Bad Ischl, Vichy, Spa, Baden-Baden. The Nore Haus magnesium pool brings that water to your backyard at thermal-spa scale.

04

Year-round, daily soaking

Designed for daily use across all four seasons. The cold side is the point in winter; the hot side carries the spring through the fall.

The cedar sauna

A luxury cedar sauna.
Hand-built for the ritual.

Western Red Cedar shell, Finnish-style heater. Included in Kit 02 (4–6 person) and Kit 03 (8–10 person, larger pool) — positioned right beside the pool so the hot-cold-rest ritual happens in one space.

  • Western Red Cedar shell — naturally rot-resistant, the wood that scents Finnish saunas
  • Finnish-style heater — 6°C ramp per minute, holds at 85–95°C
  • Optional halotherapy salt room — quoted separately, built into the same cedar suite
  • Hemlock & thermo-pine available on request for a different visual register

Why a stainless steel pool

The material
does the work.

Concrete cracks. Acrylic and fiberglass fade, blister, and need re-surfacing. Vinyl liners get replaced. A hand-welded 316L stainless steel vessel does none of that — here's what you're actually buying.

Hygienic by nature

The non-porous steel surface gives bacteria and algae nowhere to take hold — so a Nore Haus runs clean on a fraction of the chemicals a plaster or vinyl pool needs.

Built for 30–50+ years

316L marine-grade stainless is the alloy used in sailboat hulls and coastal architecture. It outlives concrete, acrylic, and fiberglass — often the house it sits behind.

Seamless & liner-free

Every shell is hand-welded into one continuous vessel. No liner to puncture or replace, no seams to fail, no re-plastering on a 10-year cycle.

Fast to heat, efficient to hold

Steel conducts heat quickly and the insulated shell holds it — the pool reaches temperature faster and costs less to keep there through a cold-climate winter.

Above-grade, no excavation

The vessel is structural on its own, so it sits on a prepared pad — no digging, no in-ground concrete, and it stays personal property you can take with you.

Genuinely recyclable

At the end of a very long life, stainless steel is 100% recyclable — not landfill like a cracked fiberglass shell or a torn vinyl liner.

What we coordinate,
but isn't in the kit price.

Every backyard is different — sloped, level, treed, fenced, walk-out, walk-up. Honest pricing on these depends on your site. We'll quote them on the free survey, and we can coordinate or hand off as you prefer.

The kit is the product. The rest is the site — we'll quote it honestly once we've seen your yard.

Build quality

Built the way
it's standing.

Every Nore Haus pool shell is hand-welded from 316L marine-grade stainless steel — the same alloy used in oceanside architecture, sailboat hulls, and pharmaceutical tanks. It handles freeze-thaw, salt air, and constant moisture without spalling or rust.

  • Shell · 316L stainless, hand-welded in Vancouver
  • Insulation · insulated shell
  • Filtration · cartridge filter · magnesium-mineral chlorinator (magnesium & potassium chloride salts, lower chlorine output than a sodium-chloride saltwater pool)
  • Heating · built for cold-climate operation
  • Warranty · 5-year shell, 1-year mechanical / cosmetic
